Sources
The angel is adapted from an illumination in the ca. 975 C.E. Spanish “Codex Urgellensis” by Beatus of Liébana. (La Seu d’Urgell, Museu Diocesà d’Urgell, Num. Inv. 501, fol. 19) ‘Beatus’ is Latin for ‘blessed’.
