DMC have taken the worlds favourite embroidery thread, DMC mouliné 6-stranded cotton, and added a little extra sparkle.
Their sparkling new thread is soft, smooth and just as easy to stitch as their flagship mouliné to add an elegant shimmer to your embroidery.
It's not a metallic fibre and it's not traditional stranded cotton... it looks exactly like stranded cotton and are 8-metre skeins with 6 strands. However, its composition makes it completely different: 73% cotton and 27% lurex polyamide. Thanks to this special mix the Étoile from DMC sparkles. Just use it as the traditional stranded cotton. Available in 35 colors, developed from the the best-sellers in the world.,The color codes are the same as those of the normal stranded cotton, but with the addition of the letter "C".
