The two centaurs are adapted from a 16th-century German embroidery, “Appearance of the Resurrected Hanging”. (Lüneberg, Kloister Lüne) The large heart is adapted from a 13th/14th-century Egyptian embroidery. (Oxford, Ashmolean Museum, 1993.230)
Materials and Techniques
You can use any even weave fabric such as Aida cloth or linen. The threads are DMC floss. Only whole cross-stitches are used.
