The angel is adapted from an etching by Albrecht Dürer, “The Seven Trumpets” (The Apocalypse), in 1497-1498. (Karlsruhe, Staatliche Kunsthalle) The lettering is a modern adaptation of the Westminster Gothic alphabet.
Materials and Techniques
You can use any even weave fabric such as Aida cloth or linen. The threads are DMC floss. Stitching uses whole cross-stitches only.
