Interesting stitches, lovely colours

I really like having a large and interesting project that makes up into a small 3 dimensional object. I am delighted with the way the outlining makes the thread colours sing. It is especially great to have the option to buy the design with or without threads and with or without fabric. I purchased with the DMC thread pack and used some Permin 'old french lace' 32 count I had in my stash.

Intriguing project

I started this ball thinking it would be too simple but boy was I wrong! The instructions are very good and easy to follow. I am loving the different pieces and hope I get them pieced together properly once completed.

The pattern is very detailed for this project - it looks complicated, but the pattern is awesome!
