The chart pack has black and white charts printed 10 stitches to approximately two centimetres on 12 sides of A4. The pattern is worked in whole cross stitch, backstitch and speciality stitches - Jessica stitch, lazy daisy, queen stitch, Rhodes stitches, eyelet stitches and variations, rice stitch, double back stitch, Smyrna cross stitch and variations, norwich stitch, scotch stitch, interlaced stitch, upright square boss, spider's web, star stitch, woven wheels, fly stitch, windmill stitch, couching, sheaf stitch, ray stitch, four-sided stitch, Kloster block, ladder hemstitch, fishbone stitch and there are stitch diagrams for all.
The pattern is worked 17 shades of stranded cotton - six DMC colours given by the pattern and eleven more to choose yourself, three for foliage and eight for flowers. Also add a metallic floss and two colours of beads to suit your colour scheme and you will have a finished embroidery personal and unique.
The stitch count is 355 by 355 and the model was worked on 28 count linen.

Great stitch selection and choice of colours
Excellent design of a formal garden with a great selection of 'special stitches', for an interesting large project. Design specifies DMC colours for 'hard landscaping' but allows choice of threads for flowers and foliage to the stitcher, so everyone gets a unique finished project that you can select to enhance your home. This large piece will use a lot of thread but in a limited number of colours which I like; prefer challenge in the stitches not the needle threading!
