The angel is adapted from a carving on the side of the 7th-century wooden coffin of St. Cuthbert. (Durham, Dean and Treasury of Durham Cathedral)
Materials and Techniques
You can use any even weave fabric such as Aida cloth or linen. The threads are DMC floss. Stitching uses whole cross-stitches only.
