The border design is adapted from an illumination in the 8th-century Spanish “Morgan Beatus”. (New York, Pierpont Morgan Library, MS 644, fol. 7) The alphabet is adapted from the same 8th-century manuscript.
Materials and Techniques
You can use any even weave fabric such as Aida cloth or linen. The threads are DMC floss. Only whole cross-stitches are used.
