This stunning griffin is adapted from an 8th-10th century Sassanian (Iranian) silk twill fabric. (Location unknown)
Materials and Techniques You can use any even weave fabric such as Aida cloth or linen. The threads are DMC floss. Stitching uses whole cross-stitches only.
