The wyvern is adapted from a 13th-century illuminated map of the world in a psalter. (London, British Library) The alphabet is an adaptation of the Malvern alphabet.
Materials and Techniques
You can use any even weave fabric such as Aida cloth or linen. The threads are DMC floss. Stitching uses whole cross-stitches and outlining which is done in 310 Black.
